This poster competition is open to students, researchers, engineers, and science officers from public and private pre-university colleges, universities and industry.
The fee charged depends on the type of participation as stated on the website.
The competition will be conducted primarily on-site; virtual mode is only allowed for East Malaysia and International participants.
Participants need to prepare the following items:
Abstract (submitted digitally during registration)
Presentation poster (printed and brought during the competition)
Other related innovative materials (if any; brought during the competition)
Participants are given 15 minutes for a poster presentation and 5 minutes for a question and answer-session with the jury. A question and answer session will be conducted immediately after the presentation.
The poster must explain the following aspects:
Research problems and project motivation
Project background
Research approach
Material concept and product potential
Innovations that have never been presented at any innovation event
Original innovation results from participants and is not copied or copied from third parties
The poster must follow the prescribed format based on the example on the website. The format of the poster is as follows:

Participants who fail to comply with the above regulations will have their participation cancelled.
This innovation competition is open to primary and secondary school students throughout Malaysia.
Each group consists of a 2 to 4 participants from the same school.
The competition comprises two stages:
The preliminary stage is evaluated based on the digital poster submitted during registration.
Selected innovation projects will proceed to the final stage, which will be conducted primarily on-site; a virtual mode is allowed only for participants from East Malaysia and international participants.
All innovative materials produced must be presented in the competition hall.
